Stephanie Norris, Principal

My name is Stephanie Norris and it is my honor to serve as Principal of Bladenboro Primary School.  I hold a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Administration from the University of North Carolina Pembroke and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education with an academic concentration in Biology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. I possess North Carolina state licensure in K-12 Administration, 6-9 Science; K-12 Academically Intelligently Gifted, K-12 Physical Education and hold National Board Certification in Early Adolescence Science.

I am thrilled to serve as Principal of Bladenboro Primary School.  The rich tradition of excellence is very much alive and well in the walls of our school and it will be reflected in all we say and do.  My goal is for the school to continue to make progress in educating our students in a holistic manner to be leaders of tomorrow. I am excited to lead our exemplary staff in laying the educational foundation for all future learning for our students.

John Ammons, Assistant Principal

Hello, My name is John Ammons.  I am currently serving as the Assistant Principal at Bladenboro Primary School. This is my first year in this role, but I have a wealth of experience in education. For 13 years, I taught Social Studies at Whiteville High School, West Bladen High School, and Bladenboro Middle School. During that time, I also had the privilege of coaching baseball and football. I hold an Associate of Science in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Arts in History, and I am currently in the process of completing my Master of School Administration.

Sandra Evans, Assistant Principal

Sandra Holland Evans, Ed.D is the Assistant Principal at Clarkton School of Discovery and Bladenboro Primary Schools.  She is a former teacher, district health coordinator, K-8 district curriculum supervisor, and assistant principal. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where she obtained her Ed.D, and the University of North Carolina at Pembroke,  where she received her undergraduate and Masters degrees.  Dr. Evans believes high expectations for all students are the key to success in all schools and districts.
